This is a late complaint for the previous 4th week.
Dear Sirs,
I am wrighting to you to express my total displeasure with the level of service at Sheremetyevo airport. I had been warned by my friends that Sheremetyevo is one of the worst airports in Europe, but I did not expect such a dishonest and insufficient treatment.
First when I arrived to the international airport was given no information on the way for transit passengers, no one of the airport officials was eager to communicate with my or to dive me any assistance in my unsuccessful affords to find the right gate. In the end it was a neighbor passenger not the airport official who told me that in order to get to the plain to Belarus a transit passenger is to move from Sheremetyevo international airlines airport (Sheremetyevo 1) to Sheremetyevo domestic airlines airport (Sheremetyevo 2). That meant that I was to pass check in and passport control and to leave the international area. But I did not have Russian visa, because I had no any idea to stay in Russia, I had a flight to Belarus with transit in Russia and surely I had Belarusian visa only! I had a great trouble with the customs and it took me more than two hours to finish the check in and to get through the customs. Then I had a trouble with my luggage - it was lost! Then I was told that a free transit bus goes from Sheremetyevo 1 to Sheremetyevo 2 once an hour and I was to take a taxi. The enormous registration queue in Sheremetyevo 1 airport and lack of information in English or reluctance of airport officials to communicate in english left me no chance to catch up with the train.
I hope you will give more attention to the education of the airport stuff and make them able to understand english.
